As Managing Partner of Bernards Appraisal Associates, Mr. White oversees and manages all marketing communications and sales efforts for the company. He brings a wealth of expertise to this role having had 30+ years of experience serving the sales development, marketing, creative and operational needs of major media companies, including Dow Jones and Company, The New York Times magazine group and American Express.

John also contributes to the knowledge-base of the appraisers in the organization having received an education in art (BA, University of New Hampshire) and masters in design (MS, Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY), as well as having won numerous awards in graphic design from The American Institute of Graphic Arts, Art Direction Magazine, Print Magazine and the Association of Graphic Arts among others.

As a classic car appraiser and enthusiast, John has published articles on the subject and continues work on his 356 Porsche in his free time.

Professional associations and affiliations include: The Financial Communications Society (former Board Member and Web Site Committee Chair), The National Trust for Historic Preservation, the American Institute of Graphic Arts and the Somerset Hills Historical Society.
